Trent Calavan

Trent Calavan grew up in a country Oklahoma town just outside of Oklahoma City.  The younger of two boys, Trent was always involved in outside sports from a very young age.  As he got older he would specialize in baseball and football and put his focus into that.

Trent attended Clear Lake High School, graduating in 2000.  He then attended Texas Lutheran University where he played football and earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science.  He fell in love with the weight room during his college years and continued to pursue that passion once he left.  This would evolve to Trent’s passion and he would pursue it for a career.

 Men’s Physique Competitor:

Trent began training for the Men’s Physique competition in 2011, the year it debut in the National Physique Committee.  His spark of interest came from his fiancée Adela Garcia (6x Fitness Olympia Champion) who told him that she thought he would do very well.  In June of 2011, Trent entered his first Men’s Physique competition at the Branch Warren Classic and took 1st place, earning him a National qualification to compete for his Pro Card.  At his first National show he place 13th out of 50 competitors, which only drove this competitor to work harder.  His sights are set on 2012 and making improvements to his physique and stage presence.
