Growing up in a small town in southern Illinois, Ashley has always been a country girl at heart. As a teenager, Ashley was a cheerleader and a gymnast, as well as played volleyball and softball. In 2008, she began a new journey into the fitness world not knowing the amazing things that were soon to happen.
Ashley was introduced to NPC’s figure circuit in 2010. With only 8 weeks left before the NPC Indianapolis Championships, she made a last-minute decision to enter and contest prep was underway. In June of 2010, she took the gold in the Novice Class in Indianapolis and then went on to capture another 1st place trophy at the NPC Great Lakes/Ohio State Championships in Columbus, Ohio. Ashley also competed at the NPC Nationals in Atlanta in October of 2010.
Ashley’s passion is fitness, and her 2nd home is in the gym. She works out 6 days a week and is also a personal trainer. She also teaches Bootie Camp classes and offers online training and meal planning.
With new goals and concrete determination, 2011 was a year to remember for Ashley Lemmons. Bringing home 2 figure overall titles, a 3rd place finish at NPC Jr. Nationals in Chicago, and then wrapping up the competitive season with a 2nd place finish at NPC Nationals in Miami.
Ashley finds that surrounding herself with positive people helps her achieve her goals. With the new support of Formutech Nutrition and the encouragement of her family and friends, Ashley is sure to hold a top spot in the fitness industry. Ashley is a strong, dedicated, and determined competitor and she is setting her sights on obtaining her Pro Card in 2012.
