OK, so here’s the skinny, it’s 2013 and everyone and their grandmother has something they want to “resolve” to achieve this year. Basically it’s a fancy way of saying that we all have goals for ourselves. On January 1st all of our goals are in tact and were 100% committed to achieving them, but what happens 2-3 weeks down the road?

It started back in July when my job switched software systems. There are always a few bugs that come along with a conversion, no big deal. Little did I know this conversion would turn my job into a total nightmare.

Being that Formutech is located near Austin, the home of the Texas Longhorns, this blog about Texas A&M might not go over so well. Not that I am a fan of this particular university, but I do think there is a very valuable lesson that the Aggies have taught us this college football season.

It seems that this time of the year presents multiple challenges for the serious athletes. I covered the issue of gluttony in my last post and how as serious athletes we need to keep that in check. The next issue which has come to the forefront for many of us in the last few weeks is the issue of reduced sunlight.

Many people avoid healthy lifestyle changes because they have a fear of failure. They hold a deep-seated belief that they will ultimately fail, so, as a result, don’t even try to start healthy changes. Or if they have a hard day, they give up easy because it’s easier to give up then to fail.
